I recently decided to hop on the fediverse. There was 2 reasons. I have a main account (persona: developer) and I didn’t want it to mix with my other interest, because I wanted to have a persona that is more chill and shares a bit about life. I wanted to test out the fediverse/ blogging in a more chill environment. (I made my own blog before this one, yet I post on here more than there) Also a silly third reason, to see how feasible it is to be purely restricted to the fediverse, and thrive.
